The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Department of Industrial Technology is now accepting submissions for the “2026 Best AI Awards.” The student category offers a prize of NT$300,000 and invites top AI × IC teams to participate!
[Competition Overview]
To foster innovative AI applications and leverage Taiwan’s strengths in IC design and the semiconductor industry, the Department of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Economic Affairs, is hosting the “Best AI Awards.”
The competition is divided into two main categories: AI Applications and IC Design. In addition to generous prize money, winning teams will receive additional resources such as R&D funding support and international exhibition matchmaking opportunities to help bring technologies to market and connect with industry.
[Eligibility]
Students (including master’s and doctoral students) from domestic and international colleges and universities, as well as corporate teams related to AI and IC fields.
[🏆 Maximum Prize] Student Category: NT$300,000 | Corporate Category: NT$1,000,000
This year also introduces a NT$10,000 advisor award per winning team. Faculty and students from electrical engineering, computer science, electronics, and related fields are encouraged to participate. Suitable for projects derived from laboratory research, capstone projects, or coursework成果.
